Kinja'd!!!

(Warning: this post is VERY image focused)

Recently I bought a new camera (my first DSLR too) because I had pushed my 4 year old point-and-shoot to the very limits of what it could do. I took some pictures of my fine automobile, and I’m pretty proud of the results, so I think Oppo needs a look at them.

I’ve included photos from two different shooting “sessions”, the cloudy pictures are from today and the sunny ones are from yesterday.

Grey BMWs with dirty wheels. Ew.

I agree, I cleaned my wheels right after taking these pictures because of how meh they look in pictures.

That was also only a week’s worth of dirt/brake dust.

It was ironic cause my grey BMW has nasty wheels right now, thanks M brakes.

Are the panels beneath the headlights aftermarket or is that a midcycle refresh/LCI? Never really noticed that style, the one thing I did not like on the e46 was the double dip under the headlights, makes it look aftermarket-y

I gave up trying to keep my E34's front wheels clean. I think it may be literally impossible. German brakes, I guess.

They’re actually part of the ZHP package offered on the E46 330Ci from 2004-2006 which this car has. Among many additions to the car (including a 10 HP bump from 225 to 235) the ZHP pack includes the M-style bumpers you see on this car.

I feel like I’m heading down that path, because after about 5 days the wheels begin to really show the dirt, and it’s also a pain to clean these wheels.

Ooooh never realized that was a zhp thing. I always like the e46 except for the “normal” headlights, may have to find myself a zhp

Nice! The T7i just came out, but it’s not too heavy of an upgrade, so you should be okay.

I chose the T6i over the newer one mainly because the T6i was on sale when I ordered it.
