Ginger is meeting and getting to know her new little brother. She doesn’t quite understand. She made us nervous for a second because she shivered like she does when she sees a rabbit or a squirrel. But, then she lied down which means she was officially submissive.

She loves everyone, including kids, so I think her and Chandler will be best friends very soon. When my wife picked him up off the floor, Ginger immediately trotted over to her like “Um, what are you doing?”

Congrats on getting the little guy home, I’m sure that is a huge relief. You’re doing the dog-to-baby intro right, keeping it slow and them at a distance, never out of sight. Has it all sunk in yet?

We have that swing, it has been a lifesaver when the munchkin wants to move but you don’t have the energy or presence of mind to rock them yourself.
