And I found many things, starting with this delusional bastard who thinks his 11 year old 280,000 mile Audi A8 is still worth $7,500 because he’s done ‘maintenance’ and stuck a bunch of S8 parts on it.

Then there is this cool 420SEL on BBS wheels:

And another super clean 420SEL:

And a 560SEL that’s in pretty good shape:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

And a Mercury Marauder:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

And the awesome but but financially ruinous Volvo S80 T6:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

And an old Escalade ESV Platinum which is currently on my short list for my second, more reliable car in a few months:

And a Paulie Walnuts Cadillac Seville:

That is nice to see it still running with those miles, but just because you throw a bunch of higher spec parts on it, doesn’t mean much to resale value. I like how they say they have S8 wheels, when those are standard S-line fare for the lower S Audis as well, nothing special about them, but nice try. People are funny.

Now now, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

The dealer where that tan 420SEL is has a really eccentric collection in the back. I would highly recommend a visit.

I may just do that if I get bored this week while I’m on spring break. I haven’t driven a W126 in a long time.

It’s next to the O’Reilly’s on 401 in Fuquay, directly across the train tracks from Varina Station. Really an odd location.
