I was craving chicken and waffles yesterday so I stopped off at IHOP and ate some, because that’s what you do when you’re an independent man that don’t need no meal times! Anyways I had a thought, “What if they made the waffles fries?” Waffle...fries...waffle..........fries. Waffle fries!! Oh my grits it’s so simple yet so brilliant! Then you could dip your waffles into the syrup or honey mustard or whatever you’re into. It allows for the meal to be eaten on the go! Drive thru-ability!! What do you think?!

Those aren’t fries though, those are just kiddie-sized floppy waffle cuts. Imagine fries but instead of being made from potatoes they are made from waffles!

At my gas station we make waffle fries with waffle batter on them. So it’s like a Fit encased in A fried waffle. It is delicious

So, this wing house I frequent in my little town, five hours due south of you, makes waffle wings. Wings coated in waffle batter, fried up, served with syrup and powdered sugar. They are amazing. Because they have this item on the menu, there is a secret dessert item you can ask for if you know about it: funnel fries. They take the waffle batter and funnel it into strips right into the fryer. Fried batter comes out, into a basket, and gets hit with powdered sugar and your choice of breakfast syrup or chocolate syrup.
