Drive across town to go pick it up. Pull into the lot and end up parked next to this:
Turned out the owner of the company I went to decided to come to work (per the clerk helping me). On such a nice day, too!
I started to do a second photo with my hooptie in the foreground: ‘01 C240. Pretty sure more rust would have formed on my car so I’m glad I didn’t.
No chance of doing a car swap (boss ain’t got time for dat...I assume). I did suggest that his employees should talk him into a little joyriding (no word if I was successful).
Btw, the license plate said GWAGON.

If I got to drive it I would have used it for its true purpose: a little off roading in style.
