It’s like I knew to come here just now. I felt a pull, as if I was summoned. For the Lincoln?

Well, the Ranchero to start with, for the not-lead. Where I’ve narrowed the front fenders, where I’ve repaired the hood, where I’ve stitched the new quarters in, and the tailgate is also a fright. TEH HAMMARZ and the bag are for the roof over the A-pillars, where there currently is no steel at all.

It will be for the Lincoln in time, though. I’ve bought pipe to make a jig for the front fender edge over the headlights, and I have all my rocker repair steel on hand. Whenever I have the new space under cover, it rolls up and gets onto cribs under the subframes.

The anti-rust undercoat is mostly for the Galaxie’s trunk, because hole and decayed original undercoat. I’m trying it out, so it may be used on the Lincoln in vast quantities if it’s good.

Also, ixnay on the ecret-Fritch-beamsay

Simply the best. A man who makes his own bodywork has no need of hippie resto panels.

I know! I have a couple more stray things I need to grab like a shrinker/stretcher (and a brake, like I mentioned), but between all these toys and my others, I’m getting well on the way to being a bumper of all kinds of bumps.

I take it you already have a good rosebud for your oxy setup?

Pretty good. Also a couple of propane torches which *could* be used for the leading, but I may need to get something nicer for that than the plain jane plumber nozzles. Typically the leading is propane just ‘cause it’s easier than oxy for the temps.
