I actually quite like the current-gen Sportage! I’m not an SUV person at all, and if I did want one, I would want a small SUV. This is only one of the few I would consider...

Couple things:
1. I don’t think it’s too bad. The overall shape is good, details are odd. Rear turn signals in the bumper are jarring.
2. It is worse than a Juke. Juke’s are the pretty much the best looking cars under $25k. At least for a few years before the shitty Nissan paint starts peeling on them.

My fiancee’s cousin has one of these. They’re really not bad, overpriced, but not bad. A lot of hard plastic, even in the top level trim. But you do get a lot of “tech”, and the huge sunroof is pretty cool. And they look WAY batter than last gen. Especially on the rear end.

I can’t stand it! So close to being a gorgeous design but headlamp shape and placement ruins everything. By the way, there are two Hyundai CUVs coming that have that have divorced lighting like the Jeep Cherokee...
This angle actually gives a better representation of the design direction.
