Shit you not.
I don’t know which was more exciting: seeing a Lada, or the homeowner not batting an eye as she unloaded groceries from her Lexus... who is this hero?

I almost bought a Niva 1600 this weekend. But didn’t because it was too buried in snow and frozen to the ground to test drive. It fired up and ran just fine but the clutch pedal wouldn’t budge and the snow had drifted under it to the point the owner was convinced the clutch fork was being obstructed. I may yet return to drag it out once the snow melts, but it’s staying put for now.

Yeah, this one was a little rough from sitting. Hasn’t really been on the road for six years or so, and hasn’t moved off the spot it’s on since the summer of 2015. Apparently hadn’t been started since then, either, but it fired up just fine, after dumping some gas into the carb.
