I had seen this many years ago and the whole segment was hilarious to me. Now, after James May’s cooking videos on YouTube, his cooking against Ramsay makes a lot more sense in retrospect. I think Ramsay should make a show where he cooks with celebrities or other amateurs in a casual setting - I think he’d be really good at it, and casual swearing among friends is better than him bellowing insults at “professional chefs” in the US version of Hells Kitchen.

Once again, I found this to be satisfyingly funny - I hadn’t seen it in a while and I love their banter.

The segment where Ramsay visits Clarkson at his home is another funny combination. Ramsay’s interview on the old Top Gear was a funny one, too, along with his lap in the cheap car.

Ramsay gets lots of flack for being a shite, but he really does care about helping people learn to cook. He does not appreciate being challenged or when people don’t listen though.
The whole series “The F-Word” is funny like that. James eats some seriously questionable things in either that episode or another.
Clarkson was also on his cooking show, not sure which one. And as mentioned it’s comedy gold.

Clarkson was on the F Word as well, just a different episode where Ramsay visits him at home, which I believe is in the Isle of Man.
Ramsay is much more understanding and amicable with amateurs, it’s with pros (Hell’s Kitchen) or with owners (Kitchen Nightmares) where he loses his temper because they either fall short of expectations or try to excuse their shit food or service with more bullshit.
The whole TV persona aside, the man has multiple Michelin stars and a 3-star restaurant, he knows what he’s doing.
