And we all knew from the start that Fump Truck would never pick competent people because they would be smarter than him and he has to look like the one in charge at all times. Despite him always looking like he’s just taken a dump in all his photos. So instead we are left with Bannon and Miller running the show. They terrify me. Bannon WANTS another world war. And Miller hates anyone who isn’t white and male.
This is NOT conservatism. It is simply hatred using people to stay in power. Moderate conservatives are going to have to drop their abortion ideology and work to get the country back or they won’t have worry about anything at all because we will all be dead.

You should be, if you can’t tie your tie so that the tip touches the top of your belt buckle, be an adult and use a fucking tie clip. If it’s at the proper height and you still can’t tuck the other side in the label, you need to invest in longer ties.

Some of those definitely-not-rubes are members of my family including a Pennsylvania coal miner. As one Oppo put it, they’ve had 8 years to see what Obama and the Clintons have on offer and decided to roll the dice because they were going to lose either way. These “smart and with-it” people also wanted to poke judgmental liberal elites in the eye and in that, they succeeded.

I have family like that too - luckily all in one of the bluest most “progressive” states, so one can taunt them with their vote not counting. Also all of a certain older sometimes entitled demographic who secretly yearns for their days of youth, when it was all milkshakes, segregation, and the draft. One is also an old time Reagan-ophile, who can now be taunted with the new regime being a Russian puppet. They too would lose either way, but as they won’t have to deal with the future as much as their kids and grandkids, they just don’t care.
Funny how in poking one in the eye, they voted in a new group of arrogant elites. Cut off their nose to spite the face, and as usual, someone else will get to clean it up.

My family who is not in the Coal Miner Category is pretty far left. I told them early on that HRC was a disaster of a candidate and they all cried, “But Donald Trump!” and took offense that I was somehow suggesting that HRC was not qualified. She was imminently qualified. It turns out she was also unelectable.

And what makes unelectable, to many, is that she was unlikeable. A lot of the demographic also like Trump’s empty bluster, as it is a persona they’d like to obtain for themselves. They also worship his wealth.
