Practical maybe, but setup is a bit of a pain. At least with the Dormi you can just pop the top and put the kettle on, with the Carawagon you have to muck about with the tent poles and then get the tent over.
Funny story, when I bought my 109 I mistook the light mounts on the rear of the roof for carawagon tent pole holes. Alas though, just turned out to be additional rear lighting.

The Carawagons are usually long beds instead of five doors for some reason, but some exist in each for each. Not sure why a camper would need extra doors, but it’s also unclear why walling off the cab is a great idea. I mean... maybe it is?
You’ve noticed one odd thing about the one in your post, I’m sure - the front lights? For some insane reason he’s replaced all the lights with the horrible plastic ones AND HE HAS JERRY CAN FENDER LIGHTS TOO. What. The Fuck. I mean, are they literally all wired up because of lulz, or does he not have one of the sets hooked up?

Yeah that is weird, mine also came with jerry can lights but the indicators are blanked off as they should be. Maybe he saw the blanked off lights and thought, “why not both” so stuck them in. To each their own I guess.

I didn’t have a good source on jerrycan lights (weird, I know, with a guy nearby specializing), so I made jerrycan light-style top of fender sponsons. We’ll probably be sticking a dual-element L488 in them rather than using the little bike-style side lights when we install them on my cousin’s 88. Right now he’s got single-light II fenders, which have a single plastic unit for the signal (no parking light hooked up). I guess we’ll use blanking plates, but a round rubber bumper would almost look better and would keep jerrycans from bonking the fender. I may need to invent something, and by that I mean turn a rubber disc on the lathe and stick it in an L488 boot or something.

This might sound crazy but I feel like a hockey puck is the same size. Get some blank pucks, drill them and fit long screws that are inset into the puck so you don’t have the cans contacting metal when they bounce around. Add a backing plate so the puck sits flush with the fender and you’ll have plenty of clearance.
My lights, I’m not sure where they’re from. I’m guessing the parts bin from Layland.

Can’t actually ID anything positively, but all so horribly British. All of your lights look burgled off of Triumphs and things, none of them are NAS in any capacity that I’m aware of. Similar frame for the top one to one from a Rover P4, may be related. Two of them may be L794s, no idea with the rest. Insanity. The original/correct and not insane jerrycan lighting, FWIW, is a pair of L488s and a pair of 516s.
