Guess the Film, Round II

Another week, another film in my film class, which means another round of guessing the film based upon its automotive content. This week’s film features a car more prominently than the first two, but I’m guessing it will be a bit harder. We’ve got two characters carrying out a hit list overnight in a ‘95 Ford Crown Victoria taxi.

Once again, no cheating or using IMCDB.

EDIT: That was fast. Opposaurus and FSI tied in guessing it. The film was Collateral (2004) starring Jamie Foxx, Tom Cruise, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Mark Ruffalo. Also, Jason Statham reprising his role as The Transporter.

I can’t remember the name without cheating, but Jamie Foxx is the cab driver, IIRC. If it was another prolific black actor, it’s not racism, it’s just a bad memory.

Thanks! My memory said it was a one-word title starting with “C” or “D.” Memory is a funny thing, but my brain is more photographic than contextual. It’s weird like that.

For some reason I wanted to say Mrs. Doubtfire. But that was only based on the picture, not your very-obvious description. The cityscape kinda looks like this.

I like Michael Mann but sometimes his movies get a bit dumb. I don’t care how many people trash Miami Vice, even with all its flaws I still enjoy that movie.

yes, and its one of my favorite movies featuring him. he does an excellent job, and how often do you get to see him play the bad guy?
