It was a big weekend for Reidus and Cletus! I drove down to Rochester, NY with Stanislav (Who runs this excellent blog ) to retrieve Reidus’ 1973 Mustang and we have a new video on the channel!

This is the second episode of our ‘R+C Weekly’ series and it’s a short, practical buyer’s guide for how to inspect and evaluate a C3 Corvette for purchase. It’s by no means a complete guide but a quick run-down of the most common trouble spots and a little information about how to confirm the provenance of your fine Corvette.
The Mustang was successfully imported into Canada and was moved into its new home where it will sit until Reidus moves here in March and we can start working on it. This will be our most ambitious build yet.
As always, we shot every bit of the process on video and you’ll see all of this on a future episode of Reidus and Cletus.

Thanks! These are shorter 2-5-minute videos about practical topics that we’ll use to fill the space between our big 30-minute feature episodes. We’re still making those, but they take lots of time.

I like that city. The Mustang was stored at my uncle’s house who is a professor at the university there. I visit about 3-4 times a year. Love Genesee brewery perched on the cliff near the falls.

I’m writing a full review of the Tahoe for Driving.ca right now, actually! It returned 11 mpg while towing, has great seats and poor storage capacity for how large it is.

If you visit during summer months make sure you check out the weekly Wednesday car show in Macedon at a place called the log cabin. It’s like 20 minute out of town on the east side but has a great crowd that assembles for beer music and all types of cars. Typically draws about 300 cars and 200 bikes of all varieties. On the west side you can hit the ricks prime rib parking lot but can’t recall what day.

Looking forward to seeing more of that mustang! The early 70's big-bodies are about the only mustang I’d own.
Cool little video too, though a bit optimistic about how much info is on that trim tag - you’re more describing a build sheet. Trim hag has paint/interior color info and some dates as well as where it was built.
