Buying used does have some affect on car buying by keeping resale values high, then people buying new aren’t as concerned knowing they can sell for more (see the Jeep Wrangler). But yea, voting directly with your wallet is still much much better. I just wish I could afford to vote with my wallet. I want to get a RWD or AWD 4dr manual sporty car for my next vehicle, unfortunately most everything in that category is $30k or more. More than I am willing to spend on a vehicle at this point.
