Worst pictures ever, but still... It’s a freaking Trimotor! Three radials at full chat make one hell of a noise so I heard it coming on the climb out. The first takeoff of the day they were really on it, the subsequent takeoffs have been much quieter.
It’s the EAA’s, giving rides here today. Damn I wish I could get out of work, only $75 a ride!

Looks like I starred it back then, beautiful shots, thanks for the reminder! What a noise she makes. It’s scheduled next in the Keys, so they’ve got to get her across the country in a couple of days. Amazing and cool that they run it that hard.
