How do you identify the guy who parks his Lambo (backed in no less) in front of the bar?

Kinja'd!!!

He’s the guy walking around to everyone in the bar talking loudly about his Lambo.

Sunchaser is rarer, and less than a service visit for the Lambo. Don’t get me wrong, supercars are cool. It is just rare that you see cool enthusiasts driving them - people who can truly enjoy such a beautiful machine. Usually it is rich guys waving their c**ks around.

I have a rule: Parking rear-in is a dick move and a sign of a personality disorder. *Opponaut exemption applies.*

I back in when I park at work, but it’s because I park in a parking garage and I’ve always done that in parking garages.

The company I used to work for required reverse parking. I followed this rule until the day I got laid off.

Backing in is alright if you’re not at a supermarket. I see people backed in at Costco all the time. I would love to see how they manage to load their cars with their 24-packs of toiletries.

On the bright side, at least he seems to know how to park between the lines and isn’t taking up multiple spaces in order to protect his ride.

I remember one ass that owned a local rip-off mini-market in a poor section of town that would always park his S-Class Coupe straddling the line in the two spaces right in front of his store. I don’t normally have a desire to key people’s cars, but that twit was making me re-think that belief.

Eh, I don’t find backing into a spot show-offy at all. But if it’s done in a place with one-way aisles and angled spots, then it’s a douche move.

I back in to my parking spot at work because most everyone else does it, I secretly think I started that trend.

I also heard something loud and v10 start the other day so I ran to the front of the office and sure enough a new lambo huracan was out there driving away. Sounded great

I’m an Opponaut and I back into spaces with my Mustang. :D

I tend to park waaaay out in the back 40 with the Mustang, and I like to back in so that I have a better view when I pull out of the parking spot. Rear visibility isn’t great on the pony and I want to reduce my chances of backing out in front of someone as much as possible.

So, I really hope that I’m not guilty of a dick move, although I certainly will not argue about any personality disorders on my part...

Someone needs to come in and ask an employee if there is a customer in here that has a white sports car out front because someone just backed into it.

....Then sit back and enjoy the show.

I back my Mustang in to spots all the time. With the limited rearward visibility I prefer to back in under controlled situations and not take the chance at backing into someone when I’m leaving. No, I don’t do it at the grocery store, how would I get my stuff into the trunk?

Parking rear-in is a dick move. Even the motorcycle next to him didn’t do it, and that guy doesn’t even have reverse.

Understood about things that just get on one’s nerves

tbh a friend of mine who’d had some LEO training always backed in; don’t remember details but it was, like,...something something situation readiness.  Not sure what situation, but if backing in helps I’ll be ready lol

Does this put me on “The List”?!

(Also not gonna be backing in when other drivers have to wait, just pulling in)

If I saw the Sunchaser next to a modern Lambo, I would definitely be more interested in the Sunchaser.

I often back into spots. When you DD a full size crew cab truck, often times having the wheels that turn on the outside gets me in an out of the spot easier and quicker. I hate being the guy holding people up while I make a 19-point manuver getting into a tight spot.

I don’t understand how this doesn’t end the argument. You can see what is coming throughout the parking process if you back in. If you must back out of the space you are blind during the most vulnerable portion of the maneuver. Period. End of argument. It is logical to back in over pull in for safety and visibility.

Hey, I drive a highish HP car to the bar. In fact, I drive the corvette pretty much everywhere since it my daily driver. I usually have a specific reason to drive my slow car anywhere. Unless I’m towing, hauling something bulky or going to need more than 2 seats, the truck collects dust in my side yard.
