Ultimate sleeper car. Looks totally unassuming to the untrained eye.

I was trying to explain to the friends I was with why I took a picture of a “normal car” and ultimately I gave up.

You are of course correct, the Skoda is much more aesthetically pleasing........

As Andy pointed out.

This is a Superb.

Kinja'd!!!

You said it’s not an ‘ssuperb’, but it is, technically, as it’s a ‘S’koda Superb. Lol.

True. With that being said, this is one Chevy that isn’t punishment to be in, so I’d take over the Skoda.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like the Chevy SS, it is an awesome car. It’s just looking a bit old now and at my age (I’m 42 now!), the Skoda’s qualities appeal to me more as a daily driver.

Did you notice that the one I picked is in the “right” colour??

I did. Lol. There is a regular petrol blue (non metallic) on another car and I can’t help but think they cheated themselves.

Hmm I’m sure how that would look, what car was it?

I once had a petrol blue Corsa (which I bought new and ordered in that colour) and one of our old Mazda 3's was phantom blue which was pretty similar to your blue as well. It is a colour a really like, I’m still not 100% taken with my Leon being black........

It was a Mk2 facelift Skoda Superb twindoor. It just looked, meh. The colour had no life to it. The metallic on Piglet isn’t very pronounced but in the light, especially summer sun, it really comes alive.

The Leon suits black very well. For a car like the Leon, black, red, blue and yellow are the best colours for it. Silver is a nice safe colour but doesn’t quite have the right look for it.

They do a nice blue in face-lift Leon called mystery blue, really suits it and there’s an interesting metalic purple as well!

The Mystery Blue looks very similar to Skodas Petrol Blue Metallic.
