Well, sort of. People say there are only two Bugatti Atlantic, and the people who own this grey one say there are three. That’s because the third one has been extensively rebuilt after an unfortunate encounter with a train. It’s not as genuine as the first two, because, as my dad likes to put it, “there’s probably more train parts than original ones in there”. But still. I’ve seen Ralph Lauren’s one , and this one, so let’s say I’ve seen half of the real ones.

What a glorious thing.

Back in 2015 they had several Royales, at least two of which were genuine!

Yeah, overcrowded auto shows can be quite the unnerving experience, especially with cars this precious!

True! I do have less of a thing for the Royale though. Although it is undeniably an amazing thing!

I saw Ralph Lauren’s car in an exihibit that was either by the Louvre or in one of the Louvre’s buildings - either way, I didn’t go see the Mona Lisa that day. I found the exhibit completely by accident and spent a long time that afternoon just absorbing the details of his cars - the Bugatti was only the beginning of a long list of beautiful cars. So, I guess I have seen anywhere from 33% to 50% of the Bugatti Atlantics in the world.

Only shitty part: no photos allowed. I couldn’t do them justice, anyway. Anyways, the man has a fantastic taste in cars.

That’s exactly where I saw it too! I almost cried, seeing it parked like that at the entrance of the exhibit. What an amazing collection that was. Starting with an Atlantic and managing to not disappoint after that is an incredible feat. I wish they would come back and do it again...

Black works better with it too, I think. Makes it look even smaller.

It was definitely close by because I remember going into that courtyard to look at the statues and glass pyramids and shit. I thought maybe I’d go into the Louvre itself but instead decided to walk around, when I found the exhibit by accident.

Yeah maybe it was a building they owned? I still have the brochure! But can’t find it. The SSK Count Trossi was my favorite, that body work was totally insane
