I think it would be cool and cheap to rebody one or at least make it look less ugly or more ugly depending on your wrong opinion :) Sorta kidding but maybe its my age showing but the design just screams 80's and has not aged well. I cannot stand the length or perceived length of these things.

this is my result of messing around last night. I don’t remember what exactly it was but something said cunningham to me so that what I started emulating.

I would love to build something like this with an aluminum LS1 a t56 some 275 tires all around.

I think we both can agree the LT1 cars look much much better.

C4s were kinda bland after that sexy C3. Like they smoothed over too many of the car’s best curves.

But I don’t hate it. Looking back now, the C4 is the most clean, understated, modest-looking Corvette. That’s where I find its charm.

I counter with Callaway; embrace the 80s.

But the later ones with the updated dash and improved engine are so much freaking bang for the buck. The pre facelift body style is actually growing on me more than the later body style. It’s simpler curves seem to hide the front overhangs awkwardness.

But I like your render.

I remember being a little kid when the C4 came out and thinking it was the coolest, most futuristic car I had ever seen. Then the design didn’t seem to age well, but now I have a re-appreciation of it. It was kind of bold to do something that restrained after the wildness that preceded it.

Your little render is interesting, though. Kind of ‘Vette meets AC Cobra.

I don’t think the exterior looks bad. Interior, yeah that could use some work.

yeah I noticed that after being done and I was kinda sad because I didnt start out trying to make a cobra haha.
I found this photo and really appreciated the design. It actually looks like a C2 if you squint. But from the side I dont like how long and thin they look.

I really like them :( I think it’s a very clean and smooth design, for example with less of the weirdness of the C6.

It’s got some 80s-ness to it, but personally that’s what I like in an 80s car. Without the flair and the digi-dash and all that crap, it’s just a boring old car .

But I live in Australia. I rarely see them (I saw one on Thursday!) and am isolated from national opinion on such cars.
