I’m in Sierra Vista, AZ now... I have not been exhausted like that in a very, very long time. And a Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty with a Cummins has better gas mileage than my RX-7... Fuck me.
Off to bed now... 1000 more km to drive tomorrow.

It’s amazing how easy it is to speed in one of those trucks. Enjoy the higher speed limits in the USA.

I completely understand why people love RX-7's. I love them as well, but rotary engines are the quintessential good idea that doesn’t really work.

I have a 3500 dually, and I have seen up to 27 mpg. I don’t see it often, but when doing long stretches, it is possible.

Can confirm, have similar big truck gets surprisingly good fuel mileage. Ride isn’t bad either, as long as you let some air outta the tires.

Wait. What kind of mileage? If it’s better than the 4runner I’ll be angry.

My dad gets about 22mpg (iirc) with his ‘01 2500 when he’s not towing and around 20 when he is towing
