Yes, that is a Hyundai hanging out of a box trailer. And the last pick is of an ‘80's Ford Box Truck with a car hanging out of the back towing another Ford box truck with a car in the back! There were several trucks like this on the highway. Is this common, safe (think I know the answer to that one), or remotely legal?

That’s a new one to me! It’s like the infamous “Why did you turn!?!” guy finally got one loaded.

This is very common. I recall a guy in the Air Force loaded and unloaded his Chevy Nova project with box truck by using old cargo ramps found at military bases that had railroad sidings.

That is no way common. Legal? Probably not.

It seems to be holding up okay. Looks goofy as hell, but if it works, it works.

Not sure if it’s acceptable to modify the Mansfield bar like that, though. Technically, this doesn’t compromise its function, but since it’s part of the support for that Hyundai, a rear-end collision might defeat the bar’s purpose.

Imagine running into the back of one collapsing the steel holding up the car and having it crush you.

I have a thing for perfect examples of crappy cars.

I think you meant to put this on the Concorde post.

In its time it was an ok car. My dad had one when I was born, and he apparently liked it.

Yep, I did; I assumed that’s what you were replying to based off of your response, lol.

The Concorde is a car with a good looking design, but has flaws and build quality issues; is it the 200 of its time?
