Kinja'd!!!

So I used the hot glue gun. If anyone know what battery this kind takes, let me know. I seemed to have lost it. Although it still works being plugged in. I just keep it on all the time ( when it’s attached )

Kinja'd!!!

Can be easily found on eBay or Amazon.

Keep your expectations low. Even a new battery may not help. Dashcam does what you need. But it IS cheap.

I picked up one of these the other day: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014DWZHRQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Surely they make one with an adapter that fits your camera, mine came with like 4 or 5 other mounts.

Funny enough I just posted a semi-install/review video of it tonight:

I bought another mount and it is failing also. Depends on how the hot glue does in weather change temps. I may pick up what you got.

The battery is only needed to keep time & date.

Good luck with that. I’m on my 3rd battery. It’s unfortunately easily affected by weather and interior car temperatures. Which is a shame because the camera’s motion sensors did work real well when I first bought it.

ETA: maintaining any charge in the battery is a PITA

When I had it in the metro it seemed to work. As the outlet ran with acc. The equinox is an always on circuit. For $9 I’ll try one.

I have had 4 different plug-and-play Sirius receivers and every single one of them had awful suction cups. I’m so glad I have a factory Sirius radio now.
