The very Republican dad of a very Republican girl I went to high school with likes to post very Republican things on facebook, which his daughter comments on and then show up in my feed.
I thought for a brief moment about actually replying with what you see I typed above, but then I realized it would be a terrible idea to engage the cesspool of 75+ replies and counting, including multiple comments from a gentleman with the Confederate flag as his profile picture, and someone who posted,
The leftover commies inside the white house leaked out details of the raid in Yemen committing TREASON . thus the need to confirm Jeff Session .
But hey, count me as one left wing liberal hippie who is enjoying a tiny bit of schadenfreude.

I have been vigorously using the “do not see functions from” function. I don’t block my friends/family who post, but you can scroll down and block the people and organizations they share or comment on. A few days of it and you block most of the places they visit.
