She will be responsible for the uneducation of America. Meanwhile we have always supported big oil and even started illegal wars over oil and invaded country’s over oil. Therefore Tillerson is status quo and has a cool name.

A free and appropriate education is arguably the single most important issue for the survival of our society.
Betsy DeVos supports voucher systems that allow funneling money out of the public school system, and into private for-profit schools. (In fact, in some cases, she’s openly advocated for the abolition of Detroit’s public school system.) And, she’s also openly said that she wants to “advance God’s kingdom” with her educational policy - given the moves that the religious right have made towards extremely anti-science education, that’s downright horrifying.

For the American people? I think so. Not that any of Trump’s cabinet is less than horrifying, but there’s at least some decent political views that Rex Tillerson has expressed (including shit like supporting carbon taxes, surprising for an oil tycoon).
Allying with Russia is awful, but we might survive it. We will not survive an uneducated populace.
