Some say he just delivers the mail.

Others say he’s getting fired for abuse of company property.

All we know is, there needs to be a mail truck destruction derby established like yesterday.

Huh...that just answered a question I never knew I needed the answer to. Can the Grumman LLV snow drift well? Apparently that’s a resounding yes!

I once had a main man to a 180 and end up stuck in my driveway, but that was by accident.

There used to be a daily newsletter email sent to all USPS employees, and there was a snip in there called “Today’s Hero.” It usually consisted of a story about a rural carrier noticing that mail was piling up at a residence, and reaching out to a neighbor to check on some widow who had fallen, or was sick.

I friend of mine worked for the USPS inspector general’s office, and would also read those stories, wondering how much overtime the carrier was milking out of the office while waiting for help to arrive. I no longer work there, but he does.

I just sent him this video with the subject: “Today’s Hero”

Waiting for a response.

I wonder if the narrow front track/wide rear track combo compared to the S10 it’s based on has a big impact on that. If it’s easy to pick up one wheel in the rear...

Back when I was a kid, they always used chains on the DJ that delivered our mail when it was snowy. Assume it was highly suboptimal otherwise.

He’s a cop. That’s his job.

Here’s his response.

“Those are some mad skills. I didn’t realize we started a NASCAR division within postal”

Sounds like he’s a cop with a good sense of humour. I may have missed the inspector general part, but to be fair I’m Canadian so our mail is delivered by dogsled.

This has, honestly, put a genuine smile on my face. Kudos to that person.

Unless you’re trying to steal mail, smuggle drugs, misuse USPS resources  or keep sponsorship money after losing all your Tour De France victories, he’s a pretty funny guy.
