I needed to remove the front fender which requires removing the front bumper. You can’t remove the front bumper without removing the headlights . So it was a chain reaction requiring a lot of removal.

It’s my dads car but he lets my sister drive it while she’s in college. He also said he would maintain it. A hit an run incident left her with a badly dented fender which was preventing the door from opening properly. My dad refused to pay for it and I was tasked with fixing it without replacing the fender. I’ve never done this kind of bodywork (I’ve worked with fiberglass only) before but I gave it a shot because I had to. I removed the fender and got it closer to the right shape and so that the door could open but it doesn’t look good and I’m not proud of it but my dad should have just bought a new fender it’s not like money is an issue for him he’s just being cheap.

Screw it. Tell him you can’t fix it unless you get a new fender. The hard part is already done, you just need to bolt it all back up. You shouldn’t have to go through all that trouble just to put a busted fender back on.

I already did it this was from over a year ago. I agree but I live under his roof so I have to do what he says most of the time

We also have a Soul so I was curious as to what prompted the removal. It is always interesting to see cars without their body panels.
