OH MY GOD, SOLITAIRE ON WINDOWS 3.1. When I was six or so, because of the terrible internet bandwidth caps at the time, I was limited to 30 minutes of computer use per day. Then, a friend of mine unearthed this ancient, wretched desktop from his grandpa’s basement, and he said I could have it if I wanted. That thing was glacial and was horrifically loud, but it had solitaire and a floppy left in it for Full Tilt! Pinball. I logged so many hours on that thing, and it finally crapped out in late 2009. Rest in peace, you magnificent bastard.

That actually wasn’t unlike my first time driving. My god was I nervous. Didn’t help that we had just gotten done doing donuts in this parking lot, and then my other Or of the blue tells 12 year old me to drive, with my adrenaline already pumping. I don’t think I even actually pressed the gas pedal. My second try was a year or two later in an 98 Accord, and a church parking lot. I did better.
