I’m in a film class this semester, which means that among other things I get to drool over all sorts of cool old machinery which got slotted into films back when they were more or less just cars. Here are two cars which were featured, albeit not prominently, in the movie we covered last week. Without using IMCDB, can you tell what movie it is?

EDIT: token_liberal got it; the film was Alfred Hitchcock’s 1959 espionage masterpiece, North by Northwest.

Interesting since the Benz got more screen time and played a much more important role. I guess that’s what being driven by Eva Marie Saint does for a car.

It’s been a while since I watched it but I seem to remember that it was in shots with Mt. Rushmore in the background. Mostly the Eva Marie Saint thing, though.
