I built myself a reasonable Guilia Ti. This seems to be a pretty competitively priced vehicle. I added 19" sport package, static driver assistance, the nicer white paint, the performance package (for those incredible metal paddle shifters), and the upgrade headlamps. Not too bad for under $50k.

Cool, scheduled an appointment in Miami next week for a test drive of the Quadrifoglio. Can’t wait to try it out. The lack of a true Manual has put me off of my plans to buy one, but this will be the first time at the wheel of a good paddle shifter, (not the gimmicky automatics with a simulated manual mode) so I’ll be interested to see how I like that. I like it for the race track, and I know they have come a long way, just not sure I can truly enjoy living with one. I’m sure I’ll schedule a test drive when I get back to NY, because honestly I can’t think if any good road near Miami... well good roads for enjoying that sweet V6 and the turbos... I can think of some good roads for showing off its stunning good looks.

Still hoping it’s just an “initial offering” issue. It is true that automatic will be the more popular one, so it somewhat makes sense.

Yeah, I have the same hope, since I doubt I’ll be up to affording a Quadrifoglio this year, I am really hoping that they just want to start out offering what they know most American dealers will order. Once they have some sales under their belt and build some level of demand, I am hoping they decide it is worth getting the Manual approved for US sales. If they do I should have my check book in hand ready to purchase.

They may do a de-tuned QF model called the Giulia Veloce as an in between.
