This is my shift knob as it was in my old Subaru, but that same knob, via the magic of an Ebay threaded adapter, is not comfortably mounted in the Accent as well.....keeping it in the WRC family! :D

Its the most useless six-speed ever, the ratios are so stupidly short. I’m at around 3500 rpm at 75 mph.

That’s about where my pickup is with 5 speeds. It would also be had with a 4-speed or a 3-speed auto. Glad I don’t have those.

I would imagine those are far from pleasant. Mini changed the gearing in 2005 to get better 0-60 times but all you really get is more wheelspin. I just wish they made 6th like an overdrive gear, but they didn’t so I can barely manage 30mpg highway from a 1.6L 4 banger.
