I’ve brewed a pot before without changing the filter. I was like why is the coffee so weak, oh shit I’m an idiot.

On the plus side, you have filtered water.

We have cooked a cup of rice in the rice cooker without water. Boy does it shrink.

I may or may not have brewed a pot without returning the carafe to the coffee maker... twice. It makes a mess.

Sometimes I wake up so tired I don’t even bother trying to make coffee. I just open the fridge and pop open a Starbucks Doubleshot (Light).

I’ve done that, too... If it doesn’t overflow it makes some pretty gross tasting lukewarm coffee.

Yup.

A few weeks ago, I woke up for work(5am ish) and poured some half and half into my thermos. I hit the brew button on the Keurig and came back to a thermos full of white hot water. Legitimately took my half asleep brain 5 seconds to realize I forgot to put the k-cup in. Doh.

Yes, I have done that. I’ve also made it with yesterday’s old grounds. That was worse because I didn’t notice until I tasted it.
