All of this has happened in my lifetime.
Trump has a long way to go to match the shit his predecessors from both parties got up to. Frankly, he is an amateur at corruption and evil.
Trump just got his tiny hand slapped by the federal courts because this is the fucking United States of America, not Nazi Germany. We have had a lot of assholes of all stripes at the wheel, but we continue. Let’s have a little faith and not call this the end of the experiment quite yet.
I don’t care if you are a Democratnor a Republican, and I don’t care how you voted. If we meet, I will engage you as a fellow human traveler, and would like to buy you a beer.

It’s not that Trump is corrupt; I believe Hillary would be more likely to do stuff like the shit above than Trump. It’s that Trump, unlike Bush, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, and Obama, is inexperienced, openly narcissistic, impulsive, and prone to anger- not a presidents temperament. Many of his ideas, which he has begun to inact, also run against my beliefs and the personal beliefs of many democrats. Hence, the anger.

Thanks for posting that - it’s almost comforting in a way. I lived through Reagan, (though in a generally conservative area,) and remember being angry as a kid with what he did and with how folks treated him like the second coming. And the trumpster doesn’t even have the benefit of having Nancy Reagan at his side...
