Well. I often wondered what the world would be like back in the 70s and 80s if we had all this technology. Looks like many others have had the same notion and decide to turn the modern age into the old days.
Next we’ll have flying banned because it’s ungodly.
Women will have the vote taken off them.
Churches and organisations will go back to abusing children (that’s if they ever stopped).
Don’t ask, don’t tell will be brought back briefly before any homosexual activity whatsoever is thoroughly banned and illegal again.
Wages will be so low again that children will once again have to leave school early in their childhood to earn money to help put food on the table.
Debtors prisons will return.
Etc, etc etc...

There is a steet here in Houston called Airline Dr. where there is a lot of Flea Markets. It’s pretty much 100% latin American in nature duh. On Saturday, ICE agents made a raid and started grabbing people like a mofo. Legal citizens or not were detained. No paperwork, no release. I-407 forms were handed to legal US residents. US citizens without ID were also detained.
Absolute BS. Our people work hard and don’t bother anyone. Several tax attorneys have mentioned to me that in a lot of cases we pay more taxes than several citizen. We are a hella important part of the economy especially in Texas aka the 16th largest economy in the world. If they are going to raid and detain people, detain those in the middle of nowhere Ohio or Wisconsin jamming to ICP and making pipe bombs while high on meth, not the REAL working class

State Sen. Charles Perry (R-Lubbock). Motherfucking way the fuck up in the fucking panhandle, Lubbock, Texas. Perry LOVES sponsoring bills aimed at Latinos and Latino immigrants.
He recently authored a bill that will be considered by the 85th legislature, which is currently in session, to criminalize sanctuary cities and sanctuary universities. I don’t think he realizes how many Latinos, undocumented or not, attend Texas’ public universities.
And Abbott is so fucking fond of the bill that he listed it as one his four emergency issues, which gives the Texas lege the ability to consider it before the “first 60 days” moratorium that prohibits it from passing legislation during the first 60 days of the 140 day session.
And on top of that, Abbott is the fucking pendejo who, last year, ordered hundreds of DPS troopers to “assist” Customs and Border Protection with immigration enforcement, even though immigration enforcement is the purview of federal agents, not state or local ones. Abbott and DPS then refused to disclose how many state troopers had been sent to the border, for how long, or how much money it was costing the Texas taxpayer. Several media outlets submitted Freedom of Information Act requests to obtain the info and were stymied by the agencies and the AG’s office. They’ve had to sue for it.
And how was DPS “helping”? By conducting chingos of traffic stops on anyone who was guilty of driving while brown. They even went as far as setting up roadblocks to stop ALL traffic on given roads, ostensibly just to make sure everyone had a valid license and proof of insurance, but they were ALSO (illegally) asking people their immigration status. All while Border Patrol paddywagons idled nearby to haul off any undocumented immigrants DPS found for them.
Like, fuck ALLLLLLLLLLLL this noise.
