If you are ever in the Akron Ohio area you need to go to Rays in Akron or Kent to have a MoFo burger. The foodie Michael Symon calls it the best thing he ever ate and still stops in when in the area to have one. He has all his B-spot restaurants and Lola but he still loves these burgers at another place. They really are that good.

The other local big burger is the Mack the Knife at Rockne’s. I just had one last night with a Bell’s Two Hearted ale. Its good but the MoFo is to die for. I’m an OG and have traveled over 3/4 of the US. Its the best I’ve had anywhere. Not sure what the secret is but the Mo-Fo is the bomb. I always order it and just a good beer. It usually takes at least a second brew to get the burger down.

I’m lucky because I can go to any of about 5 great local burger places in less than 20 minutes.
