Swiss Army knifes or Multi tools? (Gerber, Leatherman, etc since I guess Swiss army knifes are technically multitools.)

My Swiss army has limited use pliers. It is a “mechanic” knife. They work well but not as well as my leatherman.

SwissTool. It’s like a Leatherman, but more substantial and with a lifetime warranty.
I love everything Victorinox. I always keep a SwissChamp in my briefcase, a SwissCard in my wallet, a SwissTool in my car, and a Fireman in the glovebox

I carry a Victorinox Rambler on my keychain, although I actually would like something with actual pliers...

I’ve only found Swiss Army knives to be useful as a tool when I have nothing else. They are portable and versatile, but kind of half-assed at everything. I often use my Leathermans (Leathermen?) even when I have the option to use “real” tools.

I’ve carried a Leatherman Juice CS4 for years. I upgraded after I lost my previous slightly smaller Juice. I’m not sure how long the warranty is, but they did replace my first CS4 at no cost when I broke the detent mechanism on the blades.
