When I feel angry or depressed I will sometimes put some Metallica or Pantera on. Usually lifts my spirits.

Wonder if there’s a cut-off for how extreme the music can be though, like at what point does it go from being an enjoyable experience to a feedback loop that creates even more negativity. Can’t imagine anyone feeling better after listening to Lurker of Chalice or Xasthur or whatever.
