Sometimes I think I will fill out this form but I was a gym rat before this and continue to be the same gym rat, so I don’t want to pollute the results for people who are trying to become more regular worker-outers.

A couple years ago when I was an in-the-process-of-reforming fat guy, sure, maybe.

I prefer not to call myself a gym rat. More of a gym resident. lol

Last week was good, and my left shoulder is starting to heal up. Getting stronger, and work out is getting down quicker. I have found the correct amount of preworkout to take.

I suppose I’m not really attached to the gym rat term nor do I usually say that in conversation. Now that I think about it, I actively dislike being called a “foodie” in reference to my food nerdism. So let’s say I’m a fitness nerd, since the overriding theme is definitely a nerd.

And now you made me make a post about my supplement habits . Yay! (I had been meaning to do that anyway.)

Hey that is good info! I didn’t like that gadk crap. It made me cramp up really bad. I really don’t like to take anything besides pre-workout. I will take fish oil and glucosamine for joints if I am planning on a long run on concrete. I started out as a raw lifter (not taking anything and only using a belt for squats if it was 3 plates or higher). Now I take preworkout to get me motivated to workout. I never liked C4, and the green one was banned by the military. We used 1MR or NOXplode 2.0. Since those are off the market I take E.S.P. Which is full of caffeine, but I can go to sleep after drinking redbull and 5 hour energy. It is a good preworkout, but only take the small dose.
