The Nismo TV stream for Bathurst qualifying just started playing some ads for Australian TV. The first one was this add for the Mercedes-AMG GT R which featured that text in the bottom corner for the entire length of the ad. Also interesting was that there was no standard “Professional driver on a closed course, do not attempt” disclaimer on the bottom, even during the shots of the car ripping around the Nurburgring.

I’d rather have economy and emissions info rather than that stupid professional driver/closed course message.

Then again, I don’t have cable anymore so I don’t see TV ads very often. It seems like they’ve become more frequent and asinine.
