As expected, the buses are hopeless, everyone has decided to have accidents this morning, also they didn’t salt/brine the roads last night even though they were expecting snow today. I’m fine with the unsalted surface, but everyone that still has summer tires definitely isn’t. And neither are the buses. All these bike lanes and advertising transit to get more people out of commuting in their cars, and yet the entire transit system is completely hobbled at best, often just not happening as soon as it snows a couple centimeters. No thanks, I won’t be relying on that. Nor am I nearly suicidal enough to ride a bicycle in the snow with a bunch of texting Vancouver drivers on summer tires.
