I’m 6'4" and I know all I need to about headroom - don’t get a car with a sunroof! I almost always have to crane my neck down to see the traffic light when I stop at a red, that sucks. I feel bad for people who are even taller than me! Also, Star for Max Headroom reference. I used to watch that show all the time!

OR...get a car with a big sunroof, jack up your seat, and stick your head out the opening.
Just remember your goggles.
And yeah, nobody remembers Max anymore. Matt Frewer is awesome in anything he plays.

I have had two cars with sunroofs. I actually enjoyed both of them, even with the lacking headroom. I would leave the sunroof open practically all summer. It feels so good!

Nah, I still want to quickly change from ‘open roof’ to ‘AC time’. Plus I live in the northeast, convertibles really suck in the winter.

Yeah, and people tell me convertibles are bad her in the south because it gets too hot in summer. I figure they’ve come far enough that I can still put up the top and have A/C or heat when I need it. But, there sure are compromises you have to live with. It’s even less practical in the NE.

I highly recommend the Volvo C70 hardtop convertible. I owned it in Pensacola which is south enough for a multi-month long stetch of 95+ degree days and above the rest of Florida enough to see below-32 temperatures, and the occasional ice/freezing. It keeps both out very well.

This is why I am a fan of hardtop convertibles. I paid special attention to the G37.
