For being nearly the same car, the Pug looks a good deal better than the Topolino. Better executed, I reckon. It’d be easier to compare the lines if one stuck the Topolino’s lights behind the grille, of course.

Other than somewhat similar design cues from the same era there’s nothing really similar between the two, is there? Besides, the Peugeot is far larger.

I was only referring to the design cues - a nearly identical grille shape, a similar cabin roofline, and very similar fenders. Quite close overall. A bit disguised by the different lamp positions, but more similar than most other similar-looking cars of the late 30s - about the closest match in pure coincidence I can think of this side of the pond would be ‘39 Buick to ‘41 Hupp Skylark.
