OMG so much want !!
These are my dream bike. I don’t know why, but a Speed Triple from 2006-2010 would just be the perfect bike.
The only things I would change are the mirrors. I don’t mind the factory one and I bet they show more than these silly grip mirrors. Then again, they might not. Then I have to revalve the shocks for an adult.
Well I guess I will just keep looking since I can’t really afford one right now. Soon maybe.

No! I do not like the single piece bogeyes. I prefer the two eyes.Hence why my years stop at 2010. 2011 they went to those pods.

Pods are great. Bike no longer look like it’s surprised.

I had grip mirrors on my Duc. As long as get quality ones they are actually pretty good.

Love my 13r even more
If I was going for an 05-10, I’d hold out for an 08. I’ve seen them for less than five grand around here.(denver) The brakes, forks, and wheels are worth the extra couple hundred you’ll pay over an 07.
Bar end mirrors are the way to go on these bikes. Factory mirrors give you a good look at your shoulders, but that’s about it.

Yes, like that one. It seems as though that one was low sided, but I’ve seen extremely clean examples for less than 5k.
I do love the look of the stock exhaust, but I saved about 20 pounds from the top/rear of the bike with the SC Project on the 2013. The high single theoretically should give you the most power without sacrificing torque.

Well apparently I will need to buy one in a cold state cause an 08 here is more expensive with twice the milage. I guess that is the plus of living in a state where you don’t ride year round.

I would say buying in the colder months is definitely the way to go about it. I seem to always buy in September. Buying sight unseen is kinda iffy, but I think I only paid about $450 to have a bike shipped from North Carolina last time. It’s definitely an option, especially if you buy from a reputable dealer.
However, we do ride year round in Colorado. Monday and Tuesday were 60+ degrees. I was soooooo happy to get both bikes out after a month of sitting.
