My walk from class back to my apartment is straight up a street where everyone is parallel parked and go to class at least 2x a day plus walks with the doggo . Still doesn’t excuse how often I see this.

We had a friend who’s turbo blew at 60,500 miles. 60,500 miles. VW was like, screw it it’s yours. Also, the interior make’s a Polaris Ranger seem like my Lexus.

2/3 either had a driveway or road in front of them. The only correlation I could maybe see is the amount of students because it is right next to UT and their ineptitude of driving. There’s enough that I have started taking pictures.

I saw a lady take 2 minutes of going back and forth to park a spot my LS400 could have fit in with a little work. I don’t get it. I hate parallel parking but at least I can do it.

I love small and medium cities because they’re filled with people who live in the ‘burbs, but have to commute downtown and deal with strange things like “parallel parking”

We have angled curbs and 24-inch sidewalks. About half the people who street park have both passenger-side wheels on the sidewalk instead. Doesn’t leave much room for walking on them when you take mirrors into account.

Part of my Vol education with actual practical, real-world application — how to parallel-park Dad’s VW bus in any space the size of a USPS curbside box or larger (all 4 wheels on the street, too)
