Just got an email about the car accident from a year ago. We were rear ended and my wife had never had a whiplash injury so she was written out of work for a while. We asked for $1600 to cover the lost wages and PTO time she had to use. We just got an offer for $2200. Granted there are still $205 in medical bills, but still. That puts us up by $400.
Maybe because the original person handling the claim left the company and it took over a year.
