Dead serious. They dropped 113 of the 200 lbs by removing the rear and passenger seats. Sure, that means they dropped 87 lbs elsewhere, but the majority of the weight loss is seats.
If you want to have a passenger along instead of being alone in your massive coupe, they’ll put the seat back in for you. But then your Demon will only weigh 142 lbs less than a Hellcat because the passenger seat alone weighs in at 58 lbs.

As I was discussing with others last night, this technically makes it an amazing grocery getter. No seats means more room for groceries, like protein bars and red meat.
