I miss the interior innovations of the 90s. My 96 rav4 had seats like this. The back seats and front seats were designed to fold down into 2 beds. Surprisingly comfortable.

Nope, only transmission offered was a 4-speed autobox. Automatics are even more prevalent in Japan than in the US.
