To RF, or to not RF. That is the question.

I would love to get a set of 6ULs, but they’d be like $1300 after exchange/shipping...without any rubber.

That’s a pretty car.

Is that Fox suspension as good as it looks? The technical descriptions looks fantastic, but it sure isn’t cheap.

I keep debating about V-Maxx vs. Fox. It sounds like Fox gives the most suspension travel (which would be nice on the NB with such little travel in the rear), but I’m hoping for the price the V-Maxx will still be a significant upgrade over the factory Bilstein setup.

That’s still a lot less than most fully forged wheels, which is typically what you need to go to get that light and strong.

The 15"x8" 6ULs are so light I was wondering if the boxes were empty at first!

I need that + header + tune + Openflash diffuser/center exit exhaust. That would be a sweet little ride.

I was really excited about the RF until I read how bad the wind buffeting is with the top open. That’s a serious bummer, but I guess if you’re planning to always have it closed any time you’re on the highway, maybe it’s not that big of a deal.

Hmmm, I hadn’t heard about that.

I don’t have experience with either first hand. V-Maxx will definitely be an improvement over stock. I have one of FM’s Koni packages on my NA and it is awesome.

RPF1s perhaps?

Yeah, showed up in a couple recent reviews. I guess over 50 mph it gets pretty bad...

I feel like that is something they should have tested. Its also the internet so I think everyone’s opinion of “bad” is different.

I think this was from Top Gear and one of the big three here (MT/C&D/R&T).

Clearly they tested it, but maybe they thought it was acceptable for the form factor.

Well that is not confidence inspiring. When I have a ND it will be the convertible, so I won’t need to worry about that.

I would love to, but a set up those will still set me back about $1100.
