Neighbor in my old neighborhood had a convertible Solara. He referred to it as an exotic car. Covered it during winter, wouldn’t drive it in bad weather. Said it had appreciated in value. His friend offered to do an oil change on it, and he said no, it can only go to his specific trained tech at the Toyota dealership that only worked on Solaras.
He also would stand on his second story deck in the morning smoking and drinking wine from a fish bowl sized wine glass in a silk leopard print robe.

This is my baby. I bought it because it checked all the boxes for a daily driver (except a manual, which wasn’t available). Leather seats, FWD for decent snow ability, V6 engine, white (yeah I’m weird, I’ve got to have white with few exceptions), it’s a Toyota with all the reliability that his along with that, and finally it was cheap. I was pleasantly surprised at it ability, keep in mind it is not a Jalop car by any means, almost the antithesis in fact. What it does well though is get you from point a to b in comfort, at relatively high speed with ok fuel mileage. Basically it is a long distance interstate missile, sorta :)
