The ironic thing is he’s managed to somehow bind two diametrically opposed groups. Never in my life have I seen so many pro-life and liberal ideology individuals expressing the same sentiments. The ultimate irony of his latest move was it was meant to appease Christians when, in reality, “good” christians preach good works through the help of others and often work to help refugee’s.

The left isn’t the voice of reason any more than the right is, realistically the voice of reason is a bunch of moderates. But now the way left is getting just as crazy as the way right in totally different fashions so I’m sure there will be some major issue soon. I know about 50 Canadians now and would only wager one would vote for Trump. Granted the crowd I know is very Toronto (Parkdale-Kensington, etc.). Just saying it all depends on where you are.
I’m from the woods but now live in Detroit and apparently was the only democrat that saw Trump getting elected.

Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey. Pretty much anywhere where the price of housing has been driven so high that your average working class person can barely afford to rent the basement of a house owned by a “foreigner”.
The dream of working hard and buying a home for your family is dead, and unchecked immigration/foreign buyers/investors killed it.
An empty sub 1/4 acre lot in the slums of Surrey costs a million bucks. God bless the working stiff.

And now that the money laundering “investors” have a new tax in BC (the province is generally known as a dirty money haven), they are coming down to my neighborhood, where housing prices are similar to Vancouver.
I agree about the real estate disaster, and quite a few souls if not entire industries should be locked up for it. But, he who has the gold makes the rules, and it likely won’t get better with someone like Drumpf who definitely won’t support financial vetting.

I am super thankful that the office is is like 80% non-trump voters, from what I can tell. I had one guy ask me why I didn’t like trump, I told him I felt “like Trump shouldn’t be saying such offensive things toward women and Mexicans.”
The guy then proceeded to tell me that all of Hilary’s kids do drugs, even the grandkids, they make horrible life decisions, etc; and that the trump kids are perfect little angels, and would never even touch drugs, and so on.”
My gut reaction was to say “source?” But he wouldn’t hush up so my main priority was to escape the lunch area.

I read an article today with this line in it: One Connersville resident, Brendon Friend, 22, told me he liked the area because “there aren’t many black people here.”
Just made me sad to think that there are still young people in this country (probably many, many more than I would hope) who still think like this, and will likely pass those prejudices on to their kids.
