She has them in the pickup, doesn’t have them in the Vibe (the hatch is basically a luxurious doggo sweet... Also she chewed a few things before this arrangement...), and never had them in the shoebox. Why? When I had the Celica, she tried to eat everything. Those supple 80s soft plastics...

My dog always has front seat rights. Even on leather seats.
I keep the seat back so he doesnt scratch the dash up. My door messed up from him.

Dude, you’re killing me. Dogs, like kids, belong in the back seat and should be secured. I used to think otherwise. A panic stop with a 100 lb. lab in the back of the wagon changed my mind. I ended up with a 100 lb. lab scrambling to extract himself from between the shifter and the center of the dash. He didn’t whine or complain, but I’m sure he didn’t appreciate all the cuts in his mouth from going face-first into the dashboard.
